      <description>Photo-finish cameras, flatbed scanners, satellites and one man photographing Britain out of a train window are all doing the same thing: making a picture in which one axis isn&amp;rsquo;t space at all. It&amp;rsquo;s time. I built the thing so you can drive it, and the physics turns out to be stranger than the trick.</description>
